MARIE’S FIRST INPUT

Today, the adventure begins! My suitcases are filled with Deet, pharmaceutical products, granola bars, odd and ends. Everything may come in handy during our visit to Benin, otherwise the hospital will put everything to good use no doubt!

Louis, Judy and I will be leaving from Toronto early evening and we will meet the rest of the group in Africa after their round the world trek to get there as they will be travelling from Sao Paolo via Katar to finally arrive in Benin.

Louis did a fantastic job creating this blog which will keep you abreast of our activities.

Who knows I may learn a thing or two about medicine as I am the only medical person of the group!
