MORE STUFF
Its Saturday morning and we are having breakfast and slowly packing. The container has finally arrived early this morning so we will have a busy day today. We have a hernia case of a child and a biopsy to do. The bloc finishes early on Saturdays. Then we attack the container…. We only have a few hours to unpack it and get things sorted..
Yesterday was a really busy interesting day.. lots of surgeries on small babies that were all successful.. Thank God,, kids are always so unpredictable when you do surgery.
I have to say Samuel is doing a good job in cleaning the OR. There’s been some improvement since we were last here, small steps…
Well off we go to finish up.
Have a good day all

Our last day is winding down. Hard to believe it is here already. We did only one surgery this morning and a biopsy. We said good bye to all of the hospital workers.
Then we sorted the container which finally arrived. It is very hot again today and doing the container was exhausting. We all headed back to the house to have a bite to eat and a much needed shower. Now we are going to head out to visit some of the sisters who run a school about a half hour from here. We are bringing them clothes and the school supplies that we had collected. Then we will come back to say our final goodbyes and head to the airport. It will be hard to leave this place. The people are so amazing under conditions we only try to imagine.
Thank you so much to Louis ,Judy and the Bourget foundation for this incredible opportunity. And my new friends, Paul , Juliette, Alex and Joannie. It has been a blast living with you and getting to know you. I hope we can all be here again. God Bless you all.
